Burmese Jones - Card Vault

Burmese Jones - Card Vault
The Card Vault is my personal trading card collection, turned into a structured online project. Three TCGs: Pokémon, One Piece, and football cards. Not everything I own. The cards that are actually worth showcasing. The name came first. Burmese Jones is a character I had in my head for years: the idea that you can be from Myanmar and still be a collector in the full sense, not just a buyer, but someone who understands the market, the rarity tiers, the condition grading, and the cultural context of what they're holding. Cards are catalogued with market reference data and uploaded to this portfolio's collection page. The selection is deliberate. Featured cards are the ones with a story, whether that's the pull, the set, the art, or the price movement. The broader social presence is on Facebook (currently building), with Instagram and YouTube planned as the collection grows. The format there is collector-to-collector: unboxings, pulls, market talk, and the occasional deep dive on a specific set. The collection page on this site runs on Supabase for card data and Cloudinary for image hosting. Every card is entered by hand. I tried card lookup APIs early on, but the auto-filled details still needed correcting, and one of the sources went dead mid-build. Typing them in is honestly fine: it means the data reflects exactly what I own, not an external database's version of it.
