Refund Policy.

Last updated: October 3, 2026This policy covers paid work, licensed systems and card sales. It is part of every engagement and is read with the Terms of Service and the signed order form. Where they conflict, the order form wins, then the master service agreement, then this policy, then the terms.
The short version

1. At a glance

Before work starts, a deposit is refunded in full, less transfer fees.
After work starts, the deposit is not refundable, and you pay for the work done to that point.
Work that does not match the order form is corrected without using a revision round, and refunded for that deliverable if I cannot correct it.
Licensed systems are not refundable once the files are delivered, unless they are not what was described.
Cards are refunded in full if one is shown to be counterfeit, claimed within 48 hours of arrival.
An outcome I could not control, such as a ranking, a citation in an AI answer or an open rate, is not a ground for a refund.
Paid work

2. Before work starts

Work starts on the date the order form gives for it, once the deposit has cleared. If you end the engagement in writing before that date, I refund the deposit in full. The one deduction is the bank, wallet and transfer charges the payment itself cost, and any loss from currency conversion, because those were spent moving the money and are not mine to return. I do not start work before the deposit clears, so nothing has been spent on your job by then.

3. After work starts

Deposits are not refundable once work has started. A deposit reserves my time, and time that was set aside for you cannot be sold again afterwards. If you end an engagement in writing after work has started, the deposit covers the work done up to its value. Work beyond that is invoiced, and a balance already paid is applied to the same account. If the deposit exceeds the value of the work done, I do not refund the difference for a start that was already booked, except where section 5 applies.

Unused revision rounds are not refundable and do not carry to another engagement. A round is used when I begin acting on it, not when you send it, so you can add to it or take something back at no cost until then.

4. Work that does not match the order form

If a deliverable is not what the order form said it would be, tell me in writing within the acceptance period in your agreement, and say how it differs. I correct it. That correction does not use a revision round. If I cannot correct it within a reasonable time, I refund the fee for that deliverable and nothing else. That fee is the price of the item on the order form, or its share of the price where the order form gives one price for several.

5. If I cannot deliver

If I am in material breach, and do not put it right within the period in the agreement, you may end the engagement and owe nothing for what I have not delivered. I refund what you have paid for that undelivered part. Delays caused by late material, late feedback, late payment or access that was not given are not a breach, and dates move by at least the length of the delay.

6. What is not a ground for a refund

A change of mind or of direction after work has started is new scope, not a refund. A disagreement about style inside an agreed brief is dealt with by your revision rounds. Results I do not control are not promised and so are not refundable: search rankings, traffic, impressions, citations or mentions in AI answers, email open and click rates, conversion, leads and revenue all depend on platforms and audiences that neither of us controls. A change by a search engine, platform or provider to its own rules is also not mine to refund.
Licensed systems and cards

7. Licensed systems

A system is delivered as files, and a copy cannot be handed back. Once the files are delivered, or access to them is given, the purchase is not refundable. The exception is a system that cannot be opened or used, or that is materially different from the description on the order form. Tell me in writing within 14 days of delivery. I replace it, and if I cannot, I refund what you paid for it. A system is always sold whole, so I do not refund part of one. Anything offered at no cost carries no payment, and so nothing to refund.

Where a system tier includes work done alongside you, such as the configuration, a workflow run, an install, a check-in or a review, that work is a service and sections 2 to 6 apply to it.

8. Card sales

Cards are sold by auction or best offer on the Burmese Jones Card Vault page, and the full rules are in section 2 of the terms. A won auction and an accepted offer are final. Every card I sell is genuine. If one is shown to be counterfeit, I refund what you paid for it in full. Tell me within 48 hours of the card arriving. Proof can follow later, as a written opinion from PSA, BGS, CGC or Beckett, or by returning the card so I can examine it. On a confirmed counterfeit I cover return postage and refund the card price and the original delivery charge. Where the card is genuine, return postage is yours. A grading result that disappoints is not a defect and not grounds for a refund.
How refunds work

9. How a refund is paid

A refund goes back by the method you paid with, in the currency you paid in, for the amount I actually received. If you paid in Myanmar kyat, the refund is in kyat for the amount received, and I do not refund exchange-rate movement or the charges your own bank or wallet applied. I make the refund within 14 days of agreeing it, and I tell you when it is sent.

10. How to ask for one

Email me at the address below, with your order number or the name on the order, and say what you are asking for and why. I reply within 1–3 business days and give you a decision within 10 business days of having what I need to decide. If I say no, I tell you the reason in writing and which of these sections it rests on.

11. Your legal rights

Nothing here removes a right the law gives you that cannot be excluded or limited, wherever you are. Where such a right gives you more than this policy does, the law applies.

12. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy. A change applies to engagements agreed after the date above, and not to one already agreed. Work already agreed is governed by the version in force when it was agreed.
