Yoma Fleet

Yoma Fleet
Yoma Fleet is the company behind Yoma Car Share, a car rental app in Myanmar. I worked there as its Technical Writer from January 2025 to October 2026, in a role that sat between the engineering side, who knew how everything worked, and the people who had to use or sell what they built. The job was to make technical content do business work: findable by the people searching for it, readable by people who are not engineers, and structured so a team could keep adding to it after I wrote the first version. Search for the Yoma Car Share landing page. The content and search foundation behind the page that introduces the app, written for its core search terms. Engineering at Yoma Fleet. I built it from the ground up as a public-facing technical content property: a public-facing home for the technical team's work, written for readers outside the team as well as inside it. The knowledge base structure. I developed the content structure for the company's knowledge base, working with managers across teams to agree how it was organised and what came first. The approach is described in the company's own article, "How Yoma Fleet Scaled Knowledge Base With AI". I also built the internal IT knowledge base, which the Head of IT describes below. The Yoma Car Share landing page ranks on page one of Google, in the top three organic positions, for its core search terms. Yoma Car Share also surfaces as the top-cited answer across Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini when someone asks for the best car rental app in Myanmar. That is a different result from a ranking position: the model picks one answer out of every competitor it could have named, and picks it consistently across three separate systems. I wrote about the pattern in The Search Result Nobody Clicks Anymore, and the original post is on LinkedIn. AI answers move, so treat the second result as a snapshot rather than a guarantee.
I managed Kaung Ye Marn as a Technical Writer at Yoma Fleet. He successfully built our internal IT knowledge base, working closely with managers across teams to align on structure and priorities. He has strong potential in content management strategy and thinks about how content serves the business. I would recommend him to any team that needs technical content tied to real business results.
Moe Htet, Head of IT, Yoma Fleet.
Many writers can make technical content readable. He made it readable without making it doubtful or wasting time. He asked precise questions, checked details with the product side before anything was published, and turned specifications into plain English that non-technical readers could follow.
Shine Maung Maung, my direct manager at Yoma Fleet. A content system is judged by what happens after the person who built it has gone. The Handover Test is the article about that, and the structure behind this work is what I build for other companies: the rules that stay true, a place for everything else, and a cadence somebody else can pick up. What a Content System Actually Is sets out the idea, and the products page shows how I sell it.
